Man overboard! The Nats are getting that sinking feeling.

Well it had to happen and now with the Natsis running out of options they have finally elevated Little Bo Tox to the top position. With Billy Bunter chosen to support her, it is quite obvious that all of her window dressing such as turfing Woodlouse from his health portfolio and making grave statements about what he should have done with the information he was given, is just that; window dressing.

Don’t forget that this woman is Dirty Tricks 101 personified. She featured large in Nikki Hager’s book about Dirty Politics and, despite some very inaccurate and some would say deliberately misleading statements made by her afterwards she was NEVER cleared, or even investigated regarding those allegations.

The muckraking she is alleged to have indulged in was not only against opponents, either. A lot of it seems to have been directed against colleagues that she saw as rivals.

Her first statements after winning the support of the party showed that the Natsis still don’t have anything new to offer the country. It is still the same old song they have been singing for several decades and it is that same song that led to the ever widening gap between rich and poor and the deliberate and relentless running down of infrastructure and vital services, that this Government is trying hard to correct.

As for her deputy, he was the Minister for the Christchurch earthquake and we all know, especially those who live in Christchurch, what a total pig’s ear he made of that.

So the Nats have dragged up two more relics of a bygone era to try and steady the ship, and even more of their crew seem to be manning the lifeboats and paddling away as fast as they can from whatever next big iceberg their latest Skipper might run them into.

Nikky Hoeky has now pulled the pin, and whether she jumped just ahead of a kick is open to speculation, and Aimless Adams seems to be re-thinking her “I quit, no I don’t” status which despite her claims about Covid19 changing her mind, looks rather like it had more to do with which of her dodgy mates was piloting the boat. It would not surprise me if Woodlouse crawls away as well and I expect that one or two others who don’t get rewarded as much as they think they ought to be by Li’l Bo in what she initially described as a minor re-shuffle of her shadow(y) cabinet that now looks increasingly likely to have to be quite a bit more.

All of a sudden that Caucus (or is that Caucasious?) of 55 that the Mullet kept mentioning as if it had some mystical powers, could soon be reduced to half that number.
